Shuzenji road

Toll road "Shuzenji road" was extension 4.8km of National highway No. 136 bypass which linked Takyo, Izunokuni-shi from Shuzenji, Izu-shi, toll road of construction costs 47,300 million yen, and the whole line was opened in March, 1998.

The time required between Mishima - Shuzenji is largely shortened by using toll road "Izu Chuo Expressway" in addition. Gulf of east Suruga beltway is completed in February, 2014, and it is in road where convenience improves more and more because Izu Peninsula central part is connected directly from Tomei Expressway Numazu IC, Shintouna Nagaizumi Numazu IC.

We avoid around crowded Shuzenji station square, and the whole line is constructed in viaduct and tunnel, and scene of Shiroyama which is famous for rock-climbing and the magnificent Kano River face, and drive while we look at Kawazu cherry tree blooming on Kano River dike in about February is attractive.
